Update – September 2020: The practice is running at capacity, and I am currently unable to take on new therapy or supervision work.
I offer supervision to psychotherapists and counsellors. I’m interested in supporting both your strengths and your vulnerabilities as a practitioner, and working for the best outcomes for your clients and yourself.
I’m particularly interested in:
-The relational aspect of your work – paying attention to the potential tangles and transferences between you and your clients
-Encouraging you to find, develop and stand up for your own individual style as a practitioner, whatever that might be
Looking at how you can expand your repertoire of styles to meet clients with different channel preferences, worldviews and ways of working
-Paying attention to the supervision relationship itself, and how it can throw light on the relationships between your clients, you, and the wider world – for example; by working with parallel process
-My home style is Embodied-Relational Therapy – paying particular attention to relationship with clients, in particular to the embodied experience between you and them.
If you are interested in the possibility of supervision with me – then we can arrange a free initial meeting – for us to find out whether I might be a useful asset for you and your clients, and if we’re a good enough fit. I’ll be interested to find out about your work, your enthusiasms and your edges.
I charge £45 per hour session for supervision, and though it is possible to meet by zoom, skype or telephone, I would prefer to establish a face to face working relationship first.
